Mariel Sanchez (he/she/they) is a holistic theatre freelancer who has now joined this beautiful little family here at West End Church. Functioning as the Program Manager, Mariel blends their background of theatrical producing and workshopping, with project management on a larger scale, and brings a sense of high functioning muppet chaos to this team. 

Growing up in Southwest Florida, Mariel has been eating, sleeping, living, breathing theatre since she was 11 years old. She went to Sarah Lawrence college in 2015 and graduated with a BA and has been working in the city ever since. Bopping from non profit to non profit, she has finally found her way to WEC and is so excited to be a part of a team that is really doing the work. 

Some of his favorite theatrical pieces that he has been involved in have been: The Art Tour by Kyle Fackrell– Assistant Director, Healing Shipment by Maria Camia - puppeteer, ROAR! by Lindsey Hope Pearlman - Stage Manager, and Der Kaiser Von Atlantis by Viktor Ullmamm with a libretto by Peter Kien - Production Manager, and The Perfection of the Donut by Jackson Tucker-Myer - Lucius Absinthicissus.
