Sermon Archive
The heart of West End’s week is Sunday Worship at 11am, when we gather in community to worship and share our journey of faith together.
Our Sermon Archive is a place where you can watch past sermons, listen to them, or read the text - whatever is most accessible and nourishing to you.

It Takes a Village
We know that it takes a village, but whom in the village do we name? Today, Rev. Bridget Anthony bridges Black History Month and Women’s History Month as West End Church lifts up the names of Black women who formed each of our lives.
On Being Mindful
Grace may appear as a rainbow; it may appear when things don’t go as planned. Rev. William Critzman reminds the West End community of the shimmering colors of God’s love, God’s promises, and how the journey itself forms us.
Shining Forth
The space between transfiguration and the dusty certainties of life can be hard to grasp. Rev. William Critzman bridges this space as he threads love through the many celebrations this weekend and the world yet to come.
Location, Location, Location
Like the warmth of a blanket, the love of those who came before us gird our souls. As West End celebrates Black History Month, Rev. Bridget Anthony guides us to the ongoing love of Black women who helped form her.
Love’s Authority
Why do we make art? What of authority? Rev. William Critzman guides us through love, art-making, and the sacred nature of each as we consider the artists we are becoming.
Sea Change
In our nation and in our church, change is inevitable. During this transitional moment — this Sea Change — Rev. William Critzman reminds us of God’s eternal promises when the sands shift.
