A Message from the Pastor
The Easter season unfolds into the life of spring, an amazing spectacle.
It can also be a time of amazing personal experiences of life awakening in us, experiences of extravagance and delight.
Christianity affirms this life. Jesus said, “I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10). The “abundant” word recurs in the Gospel. The New Testament is a spring-time book. “Your faith is growing abundantly.” (2 Thessalonians 1:3). In the Christian life gratitude turns into service; or is it that being able to serve makes us grateful? Either way, the “abundance” word yields this empowering observation: “Now to the one who by power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, be glory…” (Ephesians 3:20).
